Already built into the system is a range of different themes to choose from, or you can have a custom theme created just for you using one of our templates at an additional cost.
Edit your content.
'Content is king'. Having the ability to edit your content should be a standard feature with any new website. The Web Cocoon system has an inbuilt text editor that is so easy to use, even the most computer illiterate user will be happy. Navigate through your website, edit a specified text area, click 'save' and you're done.
Display images anywhere.
Displaying your latest and greatest imagery is key to any successful website. We have built an image manager to let you upload images from your computer and assign them to any page on your website as well as use them in special offers. Not only this, but the system automatically resizes your images to fit the slideshow area on the website so you don't need to be a Photoshop master.
Create specials all year round.
The only thing better than a great product is a great special to go along with it. From experience, we know that the special offers page is one of the most viewed across any website and it's because of this we've made adding specials so easy! Specials are displayed across all pages and you can set an expiry date so that your specials will be removed without you having to remember.
Keep users up to date.
If a user stumbles across your website and likes what they see, it's very likely that they'll want to be kept up to date with what your business is doing. Regular and interesting blog posts can keep users coming back for more and lead into additional conversions. You may even get lucky and have them share your news and events with their friends and family.
Add brochures and PDFs.
If you've recently had a new brochure or any other print media created it's an excellent idea to enable users to download it via your website. You can do this quite easily by using our literature module - upload your media and assign it to any page within the website. Not only can this be done with PDF documents, you can also let users download PowerPoint presentations, sound files and more.
Get found in search engines.
A good website should have a strong focus on SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) so that it has more chance of being found in search engines. All Web Cocoon websites are built to the highest professional standard with a good basis for SEO and included in the system is an SEO manager which lets you change page titles, headings and more to help your website perform.
Manage email users.
Along with your secure website hosting you are able to have up to five email users on your account. These email adresses can be set up in Outlook and can also be accessed anywhere via our inbuilt web mail system. Do you need more than five email users? We can add as many as you like for an additional cost.
Capture customer data.
Whenever a user fills out a form on your website, the information is stored securely for future reference in our CRS (Customer Relationship Manager). Users to your website can also subscribe to receive promotional material from you which you can use when combined with one of our Cocoon Mailer email marketing plans.
Watch your website perform.
We take website reporting very seriously. After all, what's the point of having a website if you can't keep a close eye on how it's performing? Every Web Cocoon starter website has access to basic statistics showing number of visits, pages viewed, time on site etc and even more advanced monthly reporting is available through a pro plan.
